Cocktail -light

”Cocktail” is a wooden ceiling light inspired by the mixed color layers of fizzy drinks. These radiant color combinations and playfully shuffling sticks catch the eye, and the light works well in homes and public spaces.

Hanna Anonen is a Helsinki-based designer with a background in carpentry. She holds a BA in industrial design from the Lahti institute of Design and an MA in applied arts and design from Aalto University in Helsinki. In 2017 she participated in Finnish Design Shop’s FDS Award design competition with her innovative Cocktail chandelier, ultimately coming third. Later, the design was picked up by the Finnish furniture brand Hakola. Hanna Anonen’s designs are often characterised by playful, innovative forms and her uninhibited use of colours. She is perhaps best known for her industrial design work, but she is also a talented spatial designer, having created exhibitions and interiors for a variety of clients. In addition to Hakola, Anonen has collaborated with Made By Choice, Iittala and IVANA Helsinki, among others.

Ponytail

Tie up your Ponytails! Take a nostalgic trip down memory lane to childhood hairstyles and accessories. These art glass bonbons remind us how to put that cherry on top our hairdo. This sunny summer I had an opportunity to work with glassblowers at Nuutajärvi Glass Village, Finland.
